his is an item every junker needs whether it is the holiday season or not! A vintage Christmas tree stand can be used in so many ways!! Of course, they are infinitely perfect for holiday decorating!! Here are some ideas I've used at WhisperWood Cottage that you can easily do yourself without instruction!

I'm bringing a fabulous one into the store this weekend. It is similar to the all silver one with the removable center piece, but it has silver legs and a red center. And it's a great size!!

Holiday Open House at Old Town Antiques

s promised, here are a few shots of the Holiday Open House at Old Town Antiques in Duluth. These beautiful booths belong to Sarah Holm (photos above & below) and Krista@Snowman Hill (last three photos). I'm sure you will agree that their booths are outstanding! Well done, girls!

SHOP UPDATE:

Junkologie has recently expanded into more space at Old Town Antiques. In addition to the upstairs space (up the stairs, take a left, half way down on your right side), there is a whole new room on the main floor (from the front door, go straight back as far as you can and hang a right) outfitted with Junkologie goods. As of the holiday party, the new space was in a sad and sorry state (Not joking! I have photos to prove it but I am too embarrassed to post them!). Since then, the space has received some love and attention. I will be bringing in even more new items this Sunday!

he countdown to Christmas is on! We are having an open house at Old Town Antiques in Duluth, MN, tomorrow night. It's my first time involved in it, so I'm not sure what it's all about. I think it will be more of a social time than anything. It is by invitation only, so if you didn't receive an invitation, don't be mad...I've simply been handing them to people as I see them. It seems like most of the junkers I know are everywhere in the country but here. Wish you were closer!! I'll be sure to post some photos!
